However do I prevent too much liquid in recipes cooked in Crock-Pot?

Of late recall, nix (well, very, very littler) evaporates once you are cookery in the Crock Pot . So although you aren't totalling 'extra' liquid, the liquid you act upon attach does not really have anywhere to go, AND the automatic juices from the meats, etc. add to the liquid you observe put within. So, what to do?
